My goals for this upcoming year are few. Last year I think I was a little overzealous. So here's what I would like to do for 2012:
*Finish the Book of Mormon with Noodle by his birthday in April and with the family by the end of the year. Noodle is in late Helaman and the family is in early Alma. I think this is definitely doable.
*Run in two 5k races, one in the spring and one in the fall. I don't know what ones yet, but since I've stretched my running distance out, I might as well do something with it.
*Read more of what I want and not just textbooks. I have about four books that I want to read and so even if I only read one page a night, it will still be something that I take pleasure in and not something I'm assigned to do.
That's it. If I can do those few things by the end of this year and manage to keep my balance between family, calling and school, 2012 will be a smashing success.
