How to learn a new language in 7 days....

The new semester has started for me and the only class I'm taking is Anatomy and Physiology. I knew from the start that this class would be difficult and that many hours would be spent memorizing and remembering (that's the tricky part) all of the information. I had my first lab class today in conjuction with the lecture and discovered (much to my horror) that I have to memorize all the surface parts of the body (using correct anatomical terms, like nasal instead of nose), all of the different regions and planes, as well as being able to correctly identify various structures within a fetal pig and the organ systems associated with it. Oh, and that's not all! I also get to remember what all the organelles of a cell look like, what they do; and all the stages of mitosis, and recognize each stage. Fun times! Looks like my A&P book will be my only reading book for the next nine months. So, how am I going to acquire my new language? Fortunately, I DO have seven days, and you can bet I'm going to utilize every single one of them as best as I can (with the exception of Sunday, of course!) and know that my best will be good enough, as long as I include the Lord in my efforts. Luck to me!

  1. Way to not do homework on Sundays! I remember that was an issue up at college. Some did, some chose not too. Your my education role model:)
